Went out yesterday, solo in the morning and then my wife came for a couple hours in the afternoon. Since she holds a license, I was able to put a couple more rods in the water. Boated 9 salmon and one laker. The biggest salmon was 21" and the laker was 19". All fish caught off the planer boards Caught nothing on the downrigger. 3 colors of lead was the trick as the water is warming up. Water was like a mirror all morning and a lot of people were out fishing. Breezed kicked up in the afternoon. It was a great day to be out!
Dan Edited to add, all fish released back to the big lake! |
