Saw the house boat underway along the N side of Bear Island the other day. Owner piloting her along. Electric motor drive. He has his tomato plant "Garden" on the deck.

Saw it last night at dusk heading from the Kona area to the north side of Bear Island. Lights on inside and it looked like either a TV or computer monitor was visible inside as we passed.

Cool! Now I am thinking about a summer houseboat and winter bobhouse all in one. do you think the pontoons would hold up to the ice? hmmmmm...
