Default Vanity Plates

My aunt has 'BP 49' which is her initials and the year she graduated from high school. I ask for 'RP 69' which is my initials and the year I graduated. and you would never guess they would not approve because of the 69. Yet I have seen standard plates with 69 somewhere in the numbers.

So I ask for 'RLP13' and they accept! You would think '13' will be criminal but I guess not.

Back in the days I had a Hemi with the plates 'HUMBLE', that will be another story.

Default Banned license plates in New Hampshire

Some are funny, some I don't understand why they're banned.

Default Banned License Plates....

I haven't seen it myself, but I've been told that there is a large 4X4 in the area with the plate, "BG JNSN". Could either be a tall person named "Johnson", or something else....

I am a Johnson, not a Big Johnson (I am barely 6' tall). My plate is NOSNHOJ

Well it looks like the case of COPSLIE will be decided in court.

He's obviously pushing the envelope.

Wow, someone doesn't have any sense of humor at all !!!

Sure, some of them don't belong, but I would say more than half are just fine by any normal (normal being the operative word) standard.

Amazing!

Personally, I think it's hilarious! I was just trying to keep my post clean and the humor tongue-in-cheek. Maybe it IS a tall person named Johnson....

I noticed the plate with C-F-I and that was my neighbors plate in MA and it stood for Certified Flight Instructor.

Howie Carr did a segment on this very item this afternoon on his program.

Apparently, the plate for someone who wanted to say they love tofu was rejected. LVTOFU. Really. There are *numerous* Internet domain names, which, if read in a "certain" way spell things or make sayings that might be considered "offensive" to someone.

What's with the hatin' on "fun" in a couple of different variations? I understood when they wouldn't let me have "FNFUNFN" but what's the problem with "FUN-FUN?" And there was a least one other that mentioned fun in that list of banned plates...

I saw this on a bike at bike week this year. FCKFF I asked him how he got by with it, because I know know that you have to explain what it refers to, and he said he had his grandmother apply for him.

One of my friends has his initials followed by 69 on his bike, maybe it went through because that was his birth year?

One of my motorcycles is L6929 but that came right out of the box in order in Moultonborough.

My son's 91 Dodge pickup is 91CTD (Cummins Turbo Diesel)
