Default Wanted: Pictures of the Old Governors Mansion

Hi All,

I am looking for pictures of the old governors mansion that was on Governors Island until it burned down in 1934.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Do you mean the Stilson Hutchins mansion? Here is a thread from long ago with pictures.

Default Foundation

I was told the foundation is still there and hints of landscaping in effect. I have not confirmed it nor would I go looking for it. It is funny the folks respect their 'back yard' privacy but flaunt themselves on the shore front.
