Pre-cooked meals
Generally, if you call ahead, some restaurants and delis will pre-cook a meal for you. Pick it up the day before, warm up the food and voila! I find this method far better than packing up the gang and head to a restaurant. Especially when the weather is not delightful.
If I head out to eat on Christmas Day, I feel pretty guilty about keeping the help away from their families.
