First time pwc owner here...
For the off-season I plan on paying the dealer to do the winterizing. But I am hoping to just store it in my driveway for the winter on its trailer. I will put its cover on, build a small shelter with a good tarp over it so snow slides off if it, put the trailer on blocks, remove the wheels, remove the battery, put some steel wool in the exhaust, maybe put some dcon in the hull and maybe put some Damp-Rid in the hull too. What else do you do to your pwc if you store it outside? |

It sounds like you are being more thorough than most to me. Sounds a bit overkill.

Yup.... you've covered all bases for storage.....
Totally agree with using 'dryer sheets'... stick several over the engine compartment, expecially anywhere there are electrical wires. For about $100 you can have that PWC shrink wrapped, and be assured of any winter weather worries. Good luck ! |

only other thing I do is make sure it is a little tilted with the drain open and then also take the seats indoors and store somewhere other than the basement so they do not get eaten down there either
