Default Fryeburg Fair

The Fryeburg Fair began yesterday. I live in Moultonborough and the fair is about an hour away. I look forward to it every fall. It began yesterday and it will go on through next Sunday. I love the craftsman, the animals, Christmas tree contest, food, etc. If you are looking for a fun day with great fall foliage on the way then this may be the highlight of your week. I would suggest you go early or PM me for shortcut directions.

Always our favorite fair. http://www.fryeburgfair.org/

Tomorrow is seniors free day which we will miss this year, still up in Bar Harbor. Maybe we will get there on Thur. Best to get there early, like 8am. Mid day the roads are creep and beep. 1st stop the giant doughnut shop, the place with the long line. Then I am good to see the fair!

Default Red flannel Hash.

I remember getting the hash one year for breakfast and I want some more!

I can't recall the name of the breakfast place but it was on the route 302/113 just before you get into town. Can anyone give me a clue?

I can also recall taking Hurricane Mtn Road to Fryeburg from N. Conway. The best scenic 4X4 route in the North Country. Is that road still open?

I'll bet GB Girl knows my secret shortcut......East Conway rd ,right on 113 N and right again on Corn Shop road.......no traffic and brings you right out on the north side of the fairgrounds.
