I hear ya! We're trying to empty a 2,800 square foot four bedroom house we've lived in for 34 years and raised three kids in. The attic, basement, garage, shed, and three spare bedrooms are full! We are debilitated and don't even know where to begin. We've heard best rule of thumb: if you haven't used it in a year, get rid of it.
