To qualify for 'in current use', a lot needs to be ten acres.

Just maybe the 6.8-acre sloping land which catches a lot of sunlight could be planted with strawberries from May to August, and then pumpkins from August through halloween, and this use could get them an agriculture exemption from their Laconia property 'best use' tax?

.... trick or treat!


Maybe a garden center business with a greenhouse to compete with the nearby Lowe's in Gilford....and....the Long View Farm in Meredith?


For the Weirs, it seems like the 'best use' is to let someone else to own it.
