I usually get the spicy kung poa, some pork fried rice and some boneless spear ribs from Green Ginger!

After them for me it would be China Garden next to Shooters. But that's rare since I prefer GG

Default China Garden and Phu Jee's

Our favorite is Phu Jee's. However, for Laconia/Belmont area, we recommend China Garden.

Default Try Taipei Osaka

At the Walmart Mall in Gilford. Not the best but better than those mentioned in this thread.

For Thai food, try Lanna Thai next to the Laconia High School.

Tried the one next to the Walmart in Gilford. Thought the staff was indifferent and the food tasted like you got it in a food court at the mall.
Prefer the Green Ginger in Tilton... but there is no endless tea at the table.Love the hot tea with Chinese food.

Default Chinese Food

If you ever had good Chinese food at a restaurant anywhere in any larger city, you will be very disappointed in the few you will find around the lake. Just adding a lot of soy sauce in meat and the side of rice do not make it a Chinese. However, when it comes to Mexican food, the restaurants in Moultonborough and Wolfeboro are the first class and one of the best Mexican food, anywhere. My two cents.

That could be said for most "ethnic food" available in the area.

Some exceptions, but with a small population base and seasonal tourist trade an emphasis on "traditional offerings" is to be expected.

You want cutting edge food?

Go to a big city.

Many truly superb restaurants, conveniently located close together, can be found on the Las Vegas strip.

We always eat well in Sin City.

No endless tea? Tea and Chinese go hand in hand, in my humble opinion!
