Been boating since March 16th, never an issue this year with floating debris. Perfect boating day today, go for it.

If you have to get your lake fix this weekend (supposed to be nice), Goodhue and Hawkins are having their demo days Saturday and Sunday!

My boat has been in for a week now and I have not seen any debris floating. I haven't been up to your side of the lake yet but go for it.

Go for it!!! Great weekend.
As far as debris is concerned, keeping an eye out for debris is an ongoing chore, perhaps a little more important soon after ice out because of debris left on the ice. That being said, I would guess that we have picked up floating debris from the lake in every month we have boated. Most notably was a large branch, floating in the middle of the Broads, that was longer than my 25 ft bowrider! It was July, I believe. So, go for the ride, and enjoy. Just keep your eye out for debris.

Floating debris is usually a problem just after the ice has gone out since anything that was on/in the ice is now floating freely. But it's been so long since Ice-Out now, most of this would either have been blown to shore or picked up by someone. (Being on an eastern shore, I can vouch for the fact that a lot of it ends up on shore

I picked my boat up this weekend. I didn't see any debris on the lake. It was beautiful.
