Feral Cats on Rattlesnake Island

Just had a black cat at my sliding glass door without hardly anyone else on island. Any ideas?? Feral????

Ohhhhh: I think Black Cats are Bad Luck. The other day my wife and I were driving along a back road and a black cat crossed the road in front of us:

We didn't want to take any chances so we turned around and went back the way we came: I guess we did good because we have not had any bad luck so far.
