The hummingbirds are still here. I saw two at my feeder this evening.

A female hummingbird joined us for breakfast on East Bear Island this morning. We have kept our feeder out even though it is almost mid-September. Always great to see them. 🐻

Ours have been gone for a few weeks now. They would swoop down to get water out of a stream , but that has been dried up for more than a couple of weeks now. Not even any deeper pools.

While we still have a small few visiting our feeders, the level of activity and numbers have dropped noticeably in the past 10-14 days.

I thought they were gone too but have left my feeders in place and this morning I had a lonely visitor....just a quick bite and on her way though.

We live in southern NH and have had several Hummingbirds feeding at our feeders at a time all summer long. I filled up both feeders last week and have seen once since. See you next year!

Had a hummingbird at our window boxes with impatiens in them this afternoon in Moultonborough, isn't it a little late? Has any one else seen them?
