The two are not photos of the same house, right? The larger one on the left appears to be a cape surrounded by coniferous trees while the smaller one on the right looks like a two-story colonial surrounded by deciduous trees.
coniferous and deciduous? Man someone ate their Wheaties this morning.

Default Painting

I think I'm going to use one these photographs for a winter painting.
Beautiful light.
This is such an inspiring area. I LOVE IT HERE. (year round)

My other lake-themed water colors are here:

The top picture (of two) displayed by trfour in the reply above was actually taken by me. It is of Harvard Island at the entrance of Blackey Cove in Moultonborough NH. It was taken from my house looking in a south westerly direction from inside of Blackey Cove. I have it on my computer as a screen saver to remind me of the beauty of the lakes in the winter.

BTW, the two photo's by trfour are of different places. I cannot identify the bottom one, but it is definitely not of Harvard Island.

Holy O'l timmeahs and brain cramps, tummyman!! I just tried to find your picture and it must be well hidden... When and where did you post it?
I took for granted that it was Alby's, my bad.

The second picture is Alby's, of Ship Island in W Alton.
