So far I heard they earned themselves a $496 ticket.

There is a 'gofundme' page to cover this.

I say, once they reach three times the cost of the ticket, they should do it again on the 4th of July!

Now that would be epic!

But they are donating anything over the cost of their original ticket to a good cause. Good for them!

I was surprised at the barefoot return trip. You could see the chunks of ice and I am sure they could too. It could have turned out a lot differently had he hit even a 20 pound piece of ice with a bare foot at between 30-40 MPH.

Gee? I wonder if they will get cited for water skiing without an observer?

I wonder if the operator had a NH Boating Certificate?

Just wondering........................

Default ..... going down river!

On Sept 18, 2015, a Norwegian man, Morten Blien, age-30, drove his Polaris RMK-800 snowmobile for a 212-km ride, or 131-miles, down the Tona River in Norway. Listen to the engine, and it sounds to be a 2-stroke engine ...... it is a 2-stroke? Go Morten ....... go..... way-to-go ..... Morten!

"There is some question of whether snowmobiling on the Tona River is legal, however. While the municipalities of Tona and Karasjok both approved it, the county governor of Finnmark argues that they do not have this right as it does not follow the laws for small boats."

Snowmobile skimming is not legal in New Hampshire, Maine, and Minnesota according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowmobile_skipping

I wonder if that was their entire plan from the beginning. Idea probably started around a campfire after several brews and a few lost bets
