Default another remodel...

We too are looking for a contractor for a fairly good size remodel - will probably involve taking off a section of the house and rebuilding. May also include a couple of unrelated smaller projects. We've met with a few contractors - each has interesting ideas. One mentioned 'hourly' which scares me - but he said it would be cheaper than if he priced out the job in advance. A couple have also requested that we meet with an architectural designer first - but they tell us the people they usually work with are too busy to take on new clients right now.

So - any suggestions for contractors or architectural designers (or thoughts on hourly pricing) in the Tuftonboro area?

thanks in advance!

Richard Croteau in Tuftonboro does excellent work. I think his number is in the book. He is very honest and professional.

Smile Local Contractor Recommendation

If you are looking for a local contractor in the Moultonboro, Tuftonboro area of the Lake, I would suggest calling Lake Winni Island Property Management.
They are a full service general contractor which can handle small and big projects from remodeling to major renovations. Any one in the area familiar with the construction industry will appreciate the high demand and backlog of work for the short summer season in the Lakes Region, especially jobs on the islands.

I would recommend calling this company to consider a fall/winter project after they catch up on jobs in progress this summer. You also may benefit price wise with a winter job in the lower demand season. Call 603-253-7091.

Default Remodeling Contractor

I recommend Brendan Boyle of All Quality Construction, Inc. in Meredith (603-279-8520). He does excellent work and keeps on schedule all at a reasonable price. His company can also do design work.
