Our place is behind Black Cat Island. I left a couple of days before the Fourth of July weekend and did not see anything on it. May have something to do with the lake level? Not much space there to start with.

The town of Meredith currently assesses Becky's place at $2500, I suppose cheap for island living

I don't see an incolet stack on her roof, wonder how she does it ?

As I understand it .... the "Someone" who places Becky's summer home on the island each year are the owners of 2 mile island and also the recipients of the $2,500 assessment and associated taxes...........

Phantom, I am saying "what" because I can't believe that island is assessed at $2500. I think I would donate it to the town!!!

I look out on Becky's Garden. It was not there yesterday, but the house is on the island as of today. I don't know how and I don't know when . . . but it is back.
