I saw the MP checking up at the sandbar at Smalls Cove two weeks ago, also using a jet ski. Someone got a ticket or written warning for being too close to shore and had to move.

They didn't seem to check boats that were closer to each other than 25 ft but seemed more interested in the ones that were too close to shore at the time.
