Ice in 2017/2018

Yes the strips of water near FL26 and south of timber that I observed yesterday were iced over this afternoon.

Tomorrow's snow will slow ice depth formation so the recently frozen areas will not be safe for a while.

I know that ice-out is declared when the M/S Mount Washington can navigate to its ports in Center Harbor, Wolfeboro, Alton Bay, Weirs Beach and Meredith. What determines ice-in?

Plenty of ice in Tuftonboro. 17 inches today.
