Yes it is..but only when available and mostly in higher volume areas. If you go on the app and request a ride they will give you options.

I misspoke, I don't drive UberX, it's the Black Car for me!
Because I drive a 'BLACK CAR' I am required to have commercial insurance and only specific car models and colors are permitted.
