To the dismay of many on this thread, it seems as though that those in charge of the Dive have laid out a pretty thorough business plan for success, and didn't just "build this ugly barge" and "hope" for the best. I'm not surprised, especially with the amount of investment. Maybe now, (although I doubt it), all the armchair quarterbacking can cease a little bit and give the Dive some credit for crossing all their T's and dotting all their I's, and taking a chance on trying something different to pursue the all American dream!! One thing that hasn't been mentioned though, (unless I missed it), is the capacity. Does anyone know what the capacity (number of people, not weight) is?? Just curious.

.......eighty customers capacity is what I recall reading in The Dive-face book ......so, that probably indicates it needs to have 80 CG-approved pfd's on-board and easily accessible as well ....... remember the sinking of the HMS Titanic in 1912 ....... also, the length of the barge is something close to 60' ...... and the width is what ....anyone know? ...... and, how much does it pay for an annual registration sticker ..... just out of curiosity?

Is it a boat ..... is it a floating building ..... what is it ...... and what does it do to make money after Labor Day ..... maybe run bingo nights on the upper deck? ...... big bingo night at The Dive!

Well FLL, because you always make the most sense with your comments, here is what the LDS said about the size of the floating restaurant/bar:
