I haven't seen them for a few days, but I saw them on Saturday. Harry Vogel ( director of the Loon Preservation Committee) thinks that is a miracle that the chick has survived with only the male raising it. I hope the news stays good. We still have many boats coming in. In fact on Sunday we had 4 boats rafting in the basin. It is illegal to raft in the basin. It states it right on the L. Winnipesaukee chart. Then again, so many people pay no attention to rules.
