HI folks - did not come up this weekend - but viewing from the various web cams suggest that either a) people have no concept of 600 feet - or b) people just don't care about the ruling - or c) the ruling has not been made clear to all on the waters this weekend....because I have viewed a variety of boats at full speed with nice hardy wakes - clearly not outside the 600 foot range of some of the cameras - like the cruiser zipping along past Pine Islands cam - and the runabout coming in on the Weirs cam for example!
![]() Hope everyone shorefronts remain stable through the weekend - water looks to be going down some? Rivers still running fast down here in Haverhill - but way down from flood stage. LOTS of damage and very few boats on the river - too much debris submerged and floating around. Marinas are a mess of docks piled on one another and twisted metal and chains....sad...such a beauty of a weekend too! Happy Memorial Day Weekend! |

In 19-Mile Bay, about half the boats we saw Saturday were observing the expanded NWZ. But I think boat traffic is much lighter than I expected considering that the weather is beautiful. Lots of docks are still underwater!
