I use a Jenless weed raker. Have had for 15 years no probs.
I learned from my grandad…make a 4’x4’ frame out 2x4s and cover with chicken wire type product with half inch squares. Put on top of truck inner tube and add a rope and anchor. Rake into piles the put on tube contraption with pitch fork. Sand and water drip right thru. Bring tube to shore and let dry, lighter and easier to dispose. I use it on flower beds and is amazing.
