Haven’t sent the registration into concord via mail in a long time
Am i just sending in the check with one of the registrations (owners copy) or all four they send you?

If my memory is correct, you send in all four and they return one of them to you.

In your January 2nd post above you attached a photo of the Department of Safety cover page that has the following directions:

"Please sign the owner's copy of the renewal notice and mail to the address below along with the fee..."

I have been renewing by mail for years and have only sent back the signed owner's copy and a check for the fee. I always get my registration certificate with a validation stamp and decals in return, and nobody has told me I am doing it wrong.

yes I agree, but there were others to sign that when I walk them into Glendale Marine Patrol they have me sign and take so I was confused as to why I would not have to send those in

It is confusing. I think the state sends all the forms so that the boater has the option to either register in person at a town office, MP, etc. where all the forms are necessary, or do it through the mail, in which case only the signed owner's copy needs to be dealt with.

Default Update

I received my boat registration papers in the mail on Saturday. Hopefully, the PWC registration papers come today. $3.00 extra for the second decal.

They are trickling in. We have a lot of boats and pwc to register each year, so I have been seeing a reg come in every 3-4 days lately.

Yes, I have a boat problem.

I guess they are pacing themselves! They still have 3+ months so I'm not going to sweat it.

We had a change of address last October and sent in Record Change Requests to the DMV. Our replacement licenses arrived soon, and our vehicle registration address info was updated. All vehicles are registered in our own names as trustees.

I kept our old PO Box open until the boat registration arrived just in case. Sure enough, it was mailed to the old PO Box. I went to Marine Patrol to register the boat assuming that they would download the new information from the DMV. Nope!

For some reason that I don’t recall, the boat was registered just in the name of my trust, not in my name as trustee. NH DMV treats a trust as a corporation. So, 2 weeks ago I submitted a Corporate Address Change form along with 1st and last pages of my trust, copy of my license and proof of address change. Finally, today, I got the boat registered with the correct address.

My original mistake was not registering the boat in my name as trustee of my trust.
