Default Dust in the rollers

A while ago (maybe 7 or 8 years ago) I had a similar problem. Found the band name and some replacement rollers (in Lowe's maybe). Removed the door and laid on the floor. But the replacements weren't quite right, didn't fit well. But the old rollers were jammed up with dust. Cleaned them, sprayed on silicon lube, reinstalled. Been smooth as silk ever since. One finger to pushed the door open/closed.

Yeah, both primary and storm sliding doors need track and roller cleaning from time to time. It's the most common reason for poor performance. Also, there usually is a vertical adjustment for each side that may have let the door drop too much. If you can get the doors out and inspect the track area and rollers, you'll see. Do you have dogs? Another source of hair to clog the tracks.

I had a door with a cracked pane in it and had Granite State Glass do the glass replacement. When they came out they also serviced the door and did a great job. That was 10 years ago and it still works great.
