Default Dr Hook, "Time to Retire", charter boat for sale

Anyone who's been on the lake for the last fifty years has maybe/probably seen the large white sport fisherman boat, the Dr. Hook slowly trolling secret proven fishing spots for lake trout up and down the big lake, very early in the morning.

Just noticed the Dr. Hook 24' sport fisherman with a 175 and 9.9 hp outboard is for sale on Craigslist-NH with the first words in the description ....... "Time to Retire."

This was like the #1 fishing charter on the big lake for years and years and years and years and years ...... since 1974 or so ..... that's a long time with a lot of fishing clients and a lot of good fishing.

It's a sweet fishing boat too! Set up to perfection I would say! I also noticed it for sale yesterday and was eyeballing it.

If anyone wanted to get into the sport the boat with all of the gear included is likely ideal.

Boats are like people, it's not the age, it's the condition that really counts and this 1995 aluminum 24' sport fisherman with an asking price of twenty thousand dollars, trailer and everything else included, seems like a steal of a deal price.

If you ask me he should raise the asking price from twenty to thirty thousand, just say'n, and maybe sell it for $25,000 or more ...... time will tell?

These same Crestliner Eagle boats are used in Germany for inland lake and river police boats because they are welded aluminum, have high sides, a bow walk-around, and a small inside cabin with a porta-potty.

For some unknown reason this link ...... http://www.nh.craigslist.org/boa/d/l...866383450.html ...... will not work so go to boats and enter Laconia. It says Dr. Hook on a white boat, dated 7/17.
