It mention that it’s a new sign. Does anybody have pictures of the old sign?

The original 1956 sign had an apostrophe after the "s" in Weirs that was dropped from the new sign because it was considered too confusing to be grammatically correct so why bother with an apostrophe.

Hence, no apostrophe on the new sign but it really should have an apostrophe after the "s" in Weirs.

It didn't do too much.
Meredith overtook the Weirs quite easily as a tourist location without any neon sign.
