Development = Progress or Destruction?
I can remember my grandfather telling me how sparsely-developed the Winnipesaukee shoreline was when he was a boy (he would be 93 now). Now, at age 43, I find myself telling my kids the same thing. The pace of development and the advent of "tear-down" cottages and McMansions has been rather startling over the past 20 years.
