Try the area between Shep Brown's and Bear Island! Let out 2-3 colors or weighted line and use an orange lure.

Watch out for the elusive brown trout known to inhabit Braun Bay in the summer months...They have quite the bite...

I would suggest fishing for cusk during July and August by dropping a dead minnow down to about 90 feet in the deepest holes you can locate on your chart. Great action and good eatin'.

I've never had any luck fishing live snail darters. Do you fish them above or below the blue thermocline?

When looking for a good spot, think structure. And there's no lack of it in the Lake, so just about any spot is a good one.
