I agree that the lighthouse is an eyesore but I believe they are just trying to dress up a water tower. It's my understanding that water is hard to find all along that stretch of rt 3.Most of the motels and business' in that area have to store water.

That is interesting! Well then, they did a nice job of covering up what could have been a bigger eyesore. Thank you for pointing this out to me - it does not bug me as much now.
