You're right Siksukr......I once ordered a prime rib from the Newman ranch in California...same thing as Kobe... they do everything but teach the cattle to read and right.They play classical music,feed them the finast grain and oats....bottom line was it was not a bit better than, even USDA select out of the supermarket.Also tried Allen bros who deal in strickly prime meats and claim to supply the best staek houses in America such as Mortens,Ruth's Chris etc.The filets were perfectly trimmed but, once again....not a bit better than supermarket grade and not worth $50 lb.
