That's an interesting idea, twoplustwo. I'm sure if the MOUNT's people thought there was enough demand, they'd probably create an area conducive to working, reading, etc.... like a cafe. As telecommuters like yourself become more numerous thanks to higher gas prices and growing desire for people to avoid the office just because they can, an onboard cafe might lure more ridership from people who'd rather get their work done with an ever-changing view of the lake. My friends who like to work in the sidewalk cafe scene say it's for the same reason - ever changing crowd, people passing, etc. But I'm not an employee of the company, just one of the Forum webcam fans helping them set up their own. If this idea has sparked your interest, try doing some work on board and if you like it, start spreading the idea. It could result in increased ridership for the ship.
