crowds
Well the weather has been great all summer and with it the crowds. I thought that by now there would be fewer people but it has stayed busy right through this weekend( traffic backup at lights in Moutonboro neck , Center Harbor and Meredith were long). We tried to get into kevin's and Bob house on friday at 6Pm and was told the wait for both was 90 minutes. We ended up at VK and of course both had great dinners at reasonable prices. Merchants should be happy and great for the economy this summer.

The end of the crowds is in sight. Next weekend is the last before labor day. Many kids are already involved in weekend sports practices and getting ready for school. Labor day crowds are usually light - even if the weather is good. Then, a few weeks of relative quiet before the leaf peepers start arriving. It has appeared to be a good summer for the local businesses. About time!
