I really appreciate you posting you settings. It helps us amateurs understand the whole Aperture, Shutter, ISO triangle equation.

Was this hand held? The clarity is spectacular, and I really like the slightly blurred background, it makes the Fawn "pop" out of the picture.

Nice picture.

White tail fawns are generally born in late May/early June so this deer is approaching 10 monnths old. Hard to tell the exact size from the picture but it looks like a small deer that's lucky we had a mild winter.

Thanks all. Actually, this was shot through a pane of glass in my living room, using the back of the couch as a support. I was about 40' from the deer.

Now let's see. Airdales picture through a pane of glass, or......Nope! I think my picture of a young deer through a pane of glass is so much better......

My settings were......ummm...ummmm......nope, no settings.
The clarity of my picture is akin to that of a Hubble shot.

Seriously though that was a great pic shot through a window. my camera always seems to bounce back off the glass and wind up blurry or you can see the screen.

Nice.

This little guy/gal was only about 40' away as well, taken with a cell phone through a glass window in not very good light.

Kinda cool though because this one has tons of spots. Surprised to see it out roaming around on it's own, never did see Mom, but I'm sure she was close by.
