Old Friends Tavern Disappoints!
When you're the only restaurant on a lake, I guess you don't have to be good. "Old Friends Tavern" on Lake Winnisquam was a huge disappointment. On a beautiful holiday afternoon, boaters arriving at the outdoor deck were met with a padlocked door. The restaurant was dark and very smokey. The food was not very good, and there was not enough staff to open the deck. Looks like the place needs some management. Too bad because it's a great location.

Where is this establishment located. I may have someone who may be interested in buying/running this place.

It's about a half mile west of the Mosquito Bridge on Lake Winnisquam, on rtes 3 & 11 across from the new Channel Marine place. Formerly was known as Zack's.

Is that the place across from Jay's Marina next to where all those pontoon boats are slipped?

That's the place...right across the street from Jay's Marina. It has several docks for docking and a decent size parking lot. Once again, the only place on Winnisquam to dine on the lake. However, it's not worth the trip.
