WinniGas.com update!
FYI, if you are not already aware of it, the Pier 19 gas dock is now serving 'pure gas' Ethanol Free gasoline at their gas dock. I know many people would like to use ethanol free gas in their boat, now you have that option on the lake. According to their Facebook post, this has been available since Feb 28, 2023. I confirmed this today. https://winnigas.com/detail?station=8

In all the years I’ve worked on boats, snowmobiles, power equipment and such I’ve NEVER had a fuel related issue because someone didn’t use ethanol free gas! Stop throwing your money in the trash!

I've had plenty of carb issues related to ethanol in small 4stroke outboards, lawnmowers weedwackers etc. I use nothing but ethanol free in power equipment. I buy it at the Aloha station on Rt16.

Every time I hear complaints about issues with ethanol in gas, I smirk..... If you are using the equipment enough the fuel doesn't sit around long enough... If you aren't using the equipment enough, I suggest always using stabilizer with every fill up...... its a simple and cost effective solution.....

A few miles south on 16, there's a Shell Station (Big Apple) that sells ethanol free 89 octane for normal mid grade price. Last time I filled my can it was $3.99. |

I can confrim on the place off 16. It's big apple and they've got 89 and 91 octane for under $4.00 per gallon. Doesn't help much if your boat is in the water, but if you trailer or have cans its a good option.
