Arrow Cog Railroad-2nd webcam-Waumbek Station

Cog Railway has added a second webcam at their Waumbek Station situated about half way higher up the track, about 4000' elevation and looking up and down the track. Waumbek Station is where they wanted to build a 35-room, Cog Hotel back in 2016 on top their railway track or something?

The famous Mt Washington summit selfie sign high atop Mt Washington State Park, with seasonal summit snack bar and rest rooms, says 'Altitude 6288 Feet.'

Hey there Cog Railway, is great you now have not just one, but TWO or Three webcams! Any chance you can show a temperature reading, way up there, similar to North Conway Cam and King Pine Cam?

It takes two clicks, first down the bottom on 'clicking here' and then on 'Webcams from Marshfield and Waumbek.'

Or, maybe this will actually work ...... www.thecog.com/mount-washington-live-webcam ....... who knows? Do you see the Cog? ..... where's the Cog?

You know this new Waumbek Cam could be pretty danged good to watch the Cog coming up the steep grade, especially when its pulled by their old coal burning engine, the 1908- Waumbeck which huffs and puffs hot black coal smoke and hot white steam while tugging a loaded passenger wagon up the mountain.

Is a 50-year plus, olde White Mountain National Forest hiking tradition for Appalachian Trail thru-hikers to moon the train at the spot where the A.T. crosses the track higher up, closer to the summit on Mt Washington ...... and the train crew will throw pieces of coal back at the mooner ....... A.T. blogger, Day #140 on trail, walking north.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpBbhjDLJuE ...... Lisa P from Texas moons the Cog, sometime in late June or July, 2021 sometime ...... maybe mooning the Cog, no not really? ..... go Girl go! ...... ha-ha-ha-ha!

February 28, 2025: removing snow from Cog rail track ........ www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9kpbj77GPE ....... strong sno-blower!

Not the best pics because of today's lousy weather however it's clear that the fall foliage is in full colors up there.
