Wolfeboro.net GSN article

Hello All;

I was not quite sure where to post this, and I am sorry for breaking any forum etiquette rules in place here on winni.com. I would like to clarify a few things that were mentioned in Thursday's Granite State News article concerning Wolfeboro.net.

First, It mentioned our forums were hosted here at Winnipesaukee.com . If that were true, the site probably would not have gone down!

Second, I have been slow in rebuilding the new website. I have wolfeboro.net for fun and did not devote much time to it. This is the reason it went down. We tried to do a security update that pretty much broke our entire management system.

Anyway, thanks to the article I now realize that there is a desire to have it back up and running quickly. I will do my best to have a new site up and running for Friday May 8th, in one form or another.

I would also like to congratulate winnipesaukee.com on this fine website (notice it doesn't go down for months on end like mine) and the amount of great information it contains. It is a great deal of work to run a large portal, keep the security and modules updated, and keep users happy. I do not expect to have anywhere near the following winni.com has, but do want to offer a place for local Wolfeboro news and discussion.
