Arrow Old Crown Vics never die!

Old Ford Crown Victoria cars never die, they get remade into a racing machine to race the newly initiated 2026 weekly Crown Vic event at the White Mountain Speedway in North Woodstock, NH.

The weeks Plymouth Record has a news article on this newly initiated Crown Vic weekly race due in part to this car's low price availability as a former police car plus its local popularity as a V8, rear wheel drive, big car.

So if you got an old Crown Vic in the garage, it just got a new use as a local NH race car.

Ditto all this for the facsimile Lincoln and Mercury off-shoot models, the Lincoln Town Car and the Mercury Grand Marquis and Mercury Marauder redone with racing numbers.

The White Mountain Speedway is a nice "local" track. I have been there to watch a local racer, as recently as September 2025.

I didn't know there was a way to get in for free. You didn't actually pay to get into the track did you?

..... www.whitemountainmotorsports.com can be seen real good on Google maps ...... is located in Woodstock, NH, extremely close to the Pemigewasset River in a low, flat area below a large glacial embankment drop-down so it maybe gets flooded out occasionally and is not suitable for homes.

The track looks to be a black asphalt oval race track. Have never been there and only vaguely knew about it. Is not too high on my list for places to go. I only stop in N Woodstock and Lincoln enroute to hit the hiking trail up the WMNF, somewhere.

What's the price to watch their race event? Is that a fun thing to do? ........ www.youtube.com/watch?v=arfHJT8bFPk ...... 50-laps, Saturday, Sept 12, 2020, after sundown ..... O'Reilly's Auto Parts and Ashland Lumber - Belletetes have big signs on the track ...... O'Reilly's has got it with the good stuff when Walmart don't got it!

Who knows, maybe a Crown Vic race will show up, here ....... (Crown Vic race) ...... stay tuned?

Anyone know, do these cars racing the 50-lap race from Sept. 2020 ....... do they have manual stick-shifts?

Now that cars no longer have inspections after Jan 31, I expect to see these old Crown Vics, Mercury Marquis and Lincoln Continental rust buckets crawling out of the bushes onto the roads!
