Fireworks
Sounds pretty good. I do have a handheld GPS so I'll keep that handy. The whole thing is still a bit hard to picture let me see if I got it. Possibly 200 boats slowly pull into the Weirs Beach...

Friday night fireworks
We're staying in Meredith next week and for the first time we're staying over until Sat. We're thinking about taking our boat down to Weirs for the fireworks. I know it's a fairly easy stretch...

PFD for under 12
CT has this rule. I think it makes sense. I've hit some wakes ocassionally that could send a small child flying out of the boat when they're not paying attention.

A la Carte dinner on M/S Washington

Seems to me Airwaves has it right. If you had a stand on vessel approaching you from starboard, you would never turn to your port. All that does is move the intersection point of the two vessels...

Yes....the wind was coming from the north at about 20mph with gusts higher. I can say 20mph becasue on the way out of Meredith Bay when I was going 20mph...
