We went with another couple last Friday night. The place was packed, Karen told us there would be a delay but we were welcome to take the last empty table...right in the front window.
Karen is a character, a little rough around the edges, but seems to be a real sweetheart and made us feel like we were the only ones there.
Two of us chose the Veal Saltamboca, one opted for the Veal Parm, and the other dish was the Veal Marsala. We all agreed that they were the best we ever had. Somebody in the kitchen deserves some serious kudos putting out some seriously good dishes like we were served all the while being absolutely packed. The meals were awesome!
If there is anything to comment on that was disappointing, then it would be the bread that was served. It tasted like the italian bread you buy in the supermarket. My guess though, is that they ran out of what is usually served...totally understandable, considering how busy they were.
By the end of our meal, the place started to thin out a little, so we called Karen over to chat and to compliment her on one of the best dining out experiences we havd had while at the lake. My wife asked about the marinara sauce and Karen told us how it was made...real easy, we're anxious to try it. I asked about the other sauces we were served and she gave us the secret to their recipes.... "if you can't drink it, don't cook with it" .... a rule I can definitely live by.

All in all, a truly great experience and highly recommended.
