Default My response also included concern.

"Our daughter, who suffers from Celiac Disease, had a problem many years ago, and the "Doctor" at the hospitall in Wolfeboro, Huggins, would have sent her to her grave."
I don't know....."seemingly repeated" may be a bit much....

What I said is true. He was telling me to feed her saltines, and any........well, there is a lot that I don't need, or want, to go into here. She would have been dead in two weeks, as we were told by a physician at North Shore Babies and Childrens Hospital in Salem, Ma.

I hope you never have to go through anything like that, but if you do, I hope you can find a more responsible physician.....one who asks questions, and listens to symptoms. That physician, who shall remain nameless, is no longer with us. May he rest in peace. He told me it was "too difficult" to send specimens to Concord. Young as I was then, and being the good girl I was brought up to be, I accepted that as Gospel. It was only when my daughter was so sick she couldn't stand......and at that time.....think Biafra.....and my sister, who was a nurse at aforementioned hospital, said we should bring her there.

Yes.....it was a long time ago. However, I have heard other things about medical "mistakes" at this hospital, and if I still lived in the Lakes Region, I would make sure I hurried to LRGH, if I needed anything.

The last, LAST, thing I want to do here, is alienate anyone. I am just telling it like it was.

If you want to know more about the seriousness of CELIAC......type it in, and read what's up.

Thanks to the Salem Dr. our daughter is going to be 40 very beautiful years old in August, and works for the U.S. Gov't.

Oh......and BTW.......I think I was concerned about what a "febrile seizure" is...and asked what the person's name was, so I could say a prayer. Did you remember to add that in your post?
