That rail line closes in the winter months; hence why the red signs have specific dates of operation. It is open to all formats during that time, except for the newer versions (UTV and 4X4). It travels from as far south as the near the Belmont town line to north into Lincoln. From Belmont south, it is closed to recreational use.
The greatest violation of the rules is walkers during the summer months in violation of the active rail line statutes.
