Places to stay and boat

Hi, I am relatively new to the forum. My family and I enjoyed the lakes region this past summer and are looking to rent in the area again in the summer of "09" for 2 weeks or more. I trailer my boat and we prefer areas that are not overly busy. Not being too knowledgeable of the area we thought that Winnipesaukee was too busy for us. But I am thinking that can not be true in all areas of such a large lake. For a family that prefers a little quieter retreat can anyone make any recommendations on areas to rent and/or look to purchase. We love the area and are trying to look at properties over the winter
