Gillygirl, nice call. When we lived in Louisiana, we would see these cloud formations on occasion, and often we were in either a tornado watch or tornado warning. Severe storms, high winds, torrential downpours, and often hail. Very pretty, but don't miss seeing them. Coloration was usually a steely gray to a greenish color. Meredith Resident, great pictures. Sent from my SM-T580 using Winnipesaukee Forum mobile app

	 | Cotton Candy Clouds

We saw this spectacular cloud display high over the Belknap range from our dock on East Bear Island. Their reflections on the water, as well as the warm glow of the reflected sunlight on various surfaces, was beautiful. 🌥

Meredith Resident, do you mind if I post a couple of your pictures on the UMass Lowell weather page? Some friends of mine are posting pics of yesterday's storm, and yours are much more impressive than what they took. If you want to PM me your name, I could give you credit.

I've seen triple raimbows before which makes me assume that the 3rd rainbow would be the same as the first?
