Ragged Island

My wife and I are thinking about taking the ski out to Ragged for a few hours this afternoon or tomorrow. I believe there's some docking available on the southeast side. Is this a good configuration for jet skis?

If we choose to anchor, any recommendations on east or west sides? I'm guessing east to avoid exposure to wind but I'm uncertain about ease of navigation given I understand there are a lot of underwater rocks around the island.
