Smile Ragged Island Land Marks on West Side

Interested to learn it there are any landmarks on the west side which may make pulling in easier while on the lookout for rocks 😃

Yes—there is a swim area and information board you should be able to see from out a bit.

Once you do, go straight in and you're good. That side—west—is much less rocky. In fact, other than the big rock towards the top (north) and pretty close to shore, there's not much. Still be careful, of course!

I've only accessed the public docks on the West side. This markup is how I went in. Shallow rocks on left as map shows and other deeper ones around the track I drew. Keep prop up a bit and you shouldn't have any problem.

I found it to be a trade-off on which side to access. West side is deep and safe, but more exposed so on a windy day anchoring and accessing shore is harder. East side so rocky I got out of the boat and floated it in with engine off, but calm and shallow so just wade to shore.

Bob, you are saying west, but do you mean east?
