I was filling my car with gas at the Cumberland Farms in Meredith Monday night when I found a small plastic bag inside the slot where you insert your payment card. I was skeptical at first and put it on top of the pump. I then decided to at least see what it was.
To my surprise, the package contained a dollar bill cleverly folded up into a shirt accompanied by a cute poem about it being a friendly shirt intended as a small gift. Perhaps some of you are familiar with this and know the person responsible, but I have never seen anything like it and wanted to thank the thoughtful person for making my night and reinforcing the goodness of people. ![]() |
