Every fall the dam at the end of Paugus Bay is left open for a while until the water level is reduced a couple feet. This will add to the safety factor for the repairs being made to the Mount. If we get an unusual amount of rain the lakelevel could increase though and this could be disastrous if the Mount still has that big hole in her side.
